When you’re considering having a baby, there is much to think about. Take into consideration your current state of health and what changes you are willing to make to stay healthy. Make an appointment with Dr. Mager to find out what vitamins you should be taking, come up with an exercise plan, and it’s a great time to ask questions. It’s a good idea to come prepared with a list of concerns or questions.
 
This is also a good time to discuss any previous pregnancy problems, medicines that you currently are taking, vaccinations that you might need, and steps you can take before pregnancy to prevent certain birth defects.
 
The more healthy your body is before pregnancy, the more likely it is that you can avoid complications.
