Choosing Your Obstetrician

Choosing your obstetrician once you’re pregnant is a very personal decision. The relationship with your doctor and the trust that is built will help you make decisions during your pregnancy. Dr. Mager will guide through the process by making sure you stay healthy and are kept well-informed, while respecting your wishes for the kind of pregnancy and birth you choose. Women’s Health Center is a comprehensive practice able to handle typical and high-risk patients, multiple births, answer questions about health and nutrition, and will make sure you are well-prepared for the birth of your baby.

Some conditions may have an increased risk of complications during pregnancy or delivery. Some of these risk factors include: diabetes, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, heart disease, and cancer. Dr. Mager is also experienced in handling other complications during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, recurring miscarriages and premature birth. Personalized care and close follow-up are provided for those women, to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a safe and successful delivery.
